After King Solomon’s death, Israel was divided into two kingdoms: Israel in the north and Judah in the south. This division marked the beginning of a tumultuous period in Israel’s history, characterized by spiritual decay, moral corruption, and eventual exile. As the kingdoms of Israel and Judah struggled to maintain their faith and identity, God raised the Minor Prophets to remind them of their covenant with God.
